COMPLEX INTEGRATION SUPPORT FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES IN HUNGARY

Menedék provides complex social work with the tools of individual- and group counselling, supporting beneficiaries of international protection and third country nationals in their social inclusion and finding their way in day-to-day life. There are three pillars in  the project: inclusion, child protection and educational integration, and community mobilization.

SAFEmployment Hungary

Within the framework of the SAFEmployment Hungary Project, we want to fight the labour exploitation of people fleeing Ukraine and help its victims. Our goal is to contribute to the fair and legal employment of refugees from Ukraine in Hungary, and thereby support their integration.

Community activities mitigating social isolation of beneficiaries of international protection

Within the framework of the project financed by the Julia Taft Refugee Fund Menedék Association aims to organise a series of interlinked community events and activities through which refugees, vulnerable members of migrant communities as well as members of the host society can meet, interact, and strengthen their common sense of belonging through building social networks.

NIEM: National Integration Evaluation Mechanism - V4NIEM: Visegrad countries national integration evaluation mechanism

NIEM (and the V4NIEM: Visegrad Countries National Integration Evaluation Mechanism sub-project) will establish a mechanism for a biennial, comprehensive evaluation of the integration of beneficiaries of international protection to provide evidence on gaps in integration standards, identify promising practices and evaluate the effects of legislative and policy changes.

Introducing Gamification in vocational education and training for professionals and Social Work in the field migrant children protection and support

The aim of the GVETS project that was launched in November 2017 is to develop an online interdisciplinary capacity building program through gamification for new professionals working with children in migration environments.

RAISD: Reshaping Attention and Inclusion Strategies for Distinctively vulnerable people among the forcibly displaced

The project ‘Reshaping Attention and Inclusion Strategies for Distinctively vulnerable people among the forcibly displaced’ (RAISD) aims at identifying highly Vulnerable Groups (VG) among forcibly displaced people, analysing their specific needs, and finding suitable practices to address them.

SIMILAR- SUPPORTING INTEGRATION OF MIGRANT LEARNERS, ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES ERASMUS + STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP PROJECT

SIMILAR aims at fostering integration of migrants through a multi-dimensional approach which includes communication and persons working with them (e.g. educators, students with focus on education and social care, municipal police and volunteers) and with stakeholders in the areas of integration and social welfare. It is important to note that the term migrant in this application also refers to refugees and asylum-seekers.

Psycho-social support in Hungary

The goal of the project is to provide services that will help improve reception conditions and social integration, and also expand opportunities for refugees and beneficiaries of subsidiary protection arriving in Hungary.Moreover it aims to ensure a higher level of protection for children and to identify vulnerable persons and to secure access to local integration for those in need of international protection.
