It is not easy for anyone to start a new life in another country, especially in a foreign culture. Although in many respects the same rights are granted to those arriving in Hungary as the Hungarian citizens, at first the smallest things can be challenging for them.

We provide individual, group and community social services for the refugees, subsidiary protected and third-country nationals who contact us, in order to contribute to their successful social inclusion. Our staff provides customer-friendly guidance on health, social, employment, educational and housing subsidies and benefits.

We help the active job-seekers to write their CVs and simulate job interview situations, often with the involvement of employers.

We also offer Hungarian language lessons, school mentorship, preparatory sessions for the citizenship exam and psychological counseling.

We also stimulate social inclusion through various types of community programs. We aim to provide our clients with useful information on everyday life in Hungary. We organize regular events and group meetings (e.g. cooking, city walk, Hungarian lessons for women, female yoga, Introduction to Constitution) and also community integration programs that provide opportunity for our clients to mingle with members of the majority society (e.g. community gardening, family picnic, sports day, drama group, radio and blogs).

We provide our services for different life situations and at multiple locations in Hungary. In addition to our central office in Budapest, we are present at the reception center of Vámosszabadi, at the children's home of Fót, and at the shelters of Nyírbátor, Győr, Kiskunhalas and Liszt Ferenc Airport.
