Together for better reception centres

The project’s aims are to enhance the services related to reception and to raise their quality; to secure smooth access to the status determination procedure; and to improve asylum-seekers’ access to information. As reception centres lack the sufficient means, these conditions are not fully met. The project’s target group is asylum seeker men, women, families and children who live in the reception centres at Békéscsaba and Debrecen. The project consists of the following elements: 1. Community programmes in Békéscsaba. 2. Activating communities and supporting self-organisation in Debrecen. 3. Social casework, counselling and information service in Békéscsaba and in Debrecen. 4. A week’s summer camp for children.
