The project is aimed at addressing social and economic integration challenges that refugees arriving from Ukraine and residing in Hungary encounter with by organizing community-based activities and providing employment-related support for refugees, therefore, addressing their accessibility to various opportunities and services.
Responding to the ongoing needs identified by Menedék and the success of the previous partnership, the project activities continue to target refugees in Budapest and in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county as well. In addition, Menedék is organizing a large-scale event in Budapest on the integration to advocate for inclusion and diversity, and to foster intercultural understanding of various cultures and communities living together.
The project includes individual social work based on employment related needs in Budapest and group activities in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county. The project includes an awareness raising campaign and capacity building events in connection with the assistance against labor market exploitation.
