CAPACITY BUILDING TOOLKIT FOR CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS - Module 1
Donating as an Exchange of Values
This can be symbolic: volunteering or a physical product: items, money
What we collect determines which donation techniques we apply.
The goal of fundraising strategies is to effectively attract the necessary resources to support an organization or project. A successful strategy may combine various methods, such as online campaigns that reach a wide audience through social media or fundraising platforms, as well as organizing events where support can be solicited in person. Additionally, establishing corporate sponsorships and partnerships, as well as building a base of loyal donors who support the goals over the long term, is important. A well-thought-out strategy maximizes available resources and makes the organization’s operations sustainable.
