What came true in 2005:
Trainer qualification: Based on the age and genus sensitiveness (mainstreaming).
In July there was a training in Debrecen in the host camp which lasted 3 and a half months.
The aim of this ceremony was:
To show the discrimination through age and sex, based on the cases which occurred in the Menedék Association.
Several practice, theory, and communicational techniques were tested on how useful, adaptable, and effective they were.
There were 13 participants from the universities, civil services, and offices dealing with refugees, which are all in 11 countries of the CDNP region. Most of the participants started to prepare their own training, based on the facts they learned in Debrecen.
Further results showed that we could persuade the UNHCR office in Budapest to continue this programme in 2006 as well.
Training reference book: Based on the age and genus sensitiveness in the refugee’s case. This book consists of all the practical, theoretical, knowledge and all brochures appeared on TOT. The revised expenses could perfectly restore what the participants could learn through the ceremony, and also it could show realistic the training programmes are by the participants. The outcome is a high standard electronic training reference book, its printed version will be made by the UNHCR office in Budapest co-operation with the Gender section in Geneva. The CDNP Supporter - Programme: This is a qualificational project in the higher educational headed by an albanian, bulgarian, macedonian, moldovian, and ukranian partner. Through this programme 165 students got higher education and 40 teacher got vocational training in the theme of :Social work with refugees: Minimal requirement of the syllabus. This reference book was transcribed with the plan of the qualification in higher education in order to introduce the new expansions of the partners. The newly published themes are: „ Integration”, and „ Planning and dealing with the social services for the refugees and asylum seekers „. The English version can be found on the website. Database of professional educational group: It started by the invitation of international professors, who are the masters in the social help assistance and also organize trainings in this region. People who accepted the invitation undertake assisting the CDNP database with their curriculum. This database can be reached from 2006 on the website. Social work with refugees reference book: This is the first region-specific initiation so that the students, who learn about the refugees in higher education, have a book , from which they can learn. The book was written by writers of 4 CDNP countries, and american-hungarian professors. The arrival of the book will be in spring 2006. For the future we plan that the book will be placed in the CDNP website and also in the Refugee.hu website supported by the ERF. The newly created website will be ready in the beginning of 2006 in a more useable and more effective mode. The main point is the availability of the links of the political and educaional materials and also links of the regional offices dealing with refugees.
