Menedék Hungarian Asssociation for Migrants has been operating its office in Debrecen for 2 years. In the last 8 years the location of our office changed four times. In the first 3 years our clients had been seen in the city centre then we “moved” in the reception centre. At the beginning the office was within the centre then it was moved to one of the integration house located next to the centre.
At the begining of March we had the opportunity to move to a better place a litle bit further. The changing of location gave the possibility for creationg a cheerful activity: the settlement of our new office activated many of our clients! Due to this many countries' “workers”, such as from Banglades, Irak, Iran, Romania, Sierra-Leone contributed to the renovation works. Of course the inevitable Menedék ship has been also placed to the wall thanks to an “artist” from Sri Lanka. The success of the three fruitfull days is proved by the visitors.
